Szczepaniak, Friends of Lower Grand River, honored by WMEAC

On August 18, 2021, the West Michigan Environmental Action Council presented the Advocacy Award to the Friends of Lower Grand River. 

Friends of Lower Grand River is a diverse coalition of individuals and organizations that defended the Lower Grand River from an environmentally hostile plan to dredge a deep channel for pleasure craft usage and preserve the river's natural beauty and environment.

Jefferson Seaver, local historian, and Eric-John Szczepaniak, Kenowa Hills school board member, were present to accept the award.
